It supplies precise analysis, including percentage of remaining capacity left, for any starter battery, from cars to buses and lorries right through to motorbikes, boats - even lawnmowers and garden tractors! This it achieves by means of a clever computer algorithm, developed in a major university, with results being displayed on a bright, back-lit screen.
The unit is maintenance free and needs no power of its own, activating automatically when connected to a battery under test. Operation is fast and simple, guided by on-screen help and a typical test takes under one minute.
Testing capability runs all the way from 100 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) to a massive 1700 CCA - just perfect for recovery operators, MOT stations, councils, fleet owners, car sales and boat enthusiasts. DIN, EN and other battery rating systems are also accommodated and 24V systems pose no difficulty.
